Jul 12, 2011
Last week, EPA unveiled its new Cross-State Air Pollution Rule (CSAPR), which will replace EPA's 2005 Clean Air Interstate Rule (CAIR). EPA also released a new supplemental notice of proposed rule making to six states (Iowa, Kansas, Michigan, Missouri, Oklahoma, and Wisconsin), requiring summertime NOX reductions under the CSAPR ozone-season control program. This will bring the total number of states covered under CSARP to 28. To read more about CSAPR and related programs, visit EPA for their news release at http://www.epa.gov/airtransport/
